Today I continued to work through some necks from Bridgeman. One difference from earlier pictures is that I worked a lot larger (that is, I used a larger paper, almost A3 in size). Tomorrow, the studies contunie

After some critique of my last drawing, went on to do some neck-studies. Here is one from Bridgeman. I'll continue those the next couple of days

Day 3 of 1 pic/ day: Tree-study

This day, I tried to capture the texture and essence of a tree (something oak-ish, I guess). As I suspected, it wasn't easy, but with some more practice, and most of all studying, I think it'll get easier.

Day 2 - A study of the ocean

This picture was done in Photoshop in one layer, with just some standard brushes. The main focus was to get a feel for how water behaves and looks.
