Loomis-practice

Since I've been away on vacation a little while, it's been hard to update this blog. I have, however, tried to keep up with my drawing (using the Loomis-pdf's on my iPad as the course material). Here is one result from an evening at a cafe with a cup of tea.

Day 1 of my projekt 1 drawing/ day - Super Librarian

This is a sketch taken from Chris Harts Simplified Anatomy (with some changes). From today and three weeks onward, my ambition is to post one image per day. These images can be of any motif, style or media. The important thing is to keep drawing.

Freehand sketch of an RPG-character

Girl eating icecream

Todays drawing is a step away from what I normally do. One of my aims today was to capture the emotion of the original picture, and keep it loose and fast.

A quick, loose sketch

This is a fairly freehand sketch I made, trying to "sculpt" the shape loose lines and circles.

A cartoonish superheroine

This is a simple attempt at doing a more cartoonish character, that still has a superheroic vibe to her.
